Hillside Shed

I needed a workshop/storage shed to accompany my off-grid cabin on a forested hillside lot. Built over the course of two summers. Modified the plans to 8×12 and added the lean-to last fall. Recycled door and windows from previous projects, and opted for a metal roof. Because of uneven terrain, shed sits on concrete piers (dug and mixed by hand, with water lugged up from the brook). Smartside panels on the lean-to side only. Remaining sides cedar shingles to match the cabin.

This was the biggest DIY project of my life to date, but viewed all videos several times over and religiously referenced the plans in a 3-ring binder, which saved me hours of lost "second guessing" time. Henry's tips and instructions are great - would not have been able to do this without CLP

Tom, that is quiet the change up from our plans – looks great and love the use of recycled door and window. Nice to have extra space to keep snow and rain off of things!
