I had never worked with lumber or tools in my life aside from the occasional hammering or tightening of a nut or bolt. I watched the YouTube videos and actually believed I could do it. At each step I would think I had bit off more than I could chew, but somehow kept pushing through until the shed was built. It still has some touch ups to go, but that will have to wait until spring. Took me three months working only weekends.

Planning to help my daughter and son-in-law build a 12×16 shed in a couple of weeks using Henry’s 10×12 plans. Loved the detail and the videos, so bought the plans right away. Question on the trusses – did you stick w/ 2×4 construction of bump up to 2×6? Care to weigh in Henry?
I don’t know if I would agree with you having two left hands… this is fairly large project and looks pretty darn good to me. Nice job!
