Shed in Toronto Backyard

1

My daughter’s family needed a shed in their Toronto backyard since they do not have a garage. The backyard is very small and the shed had to be fit in the back corner of the yard. I had approximately 16″ from the fences to the shed walls. Due to the narrow lots all the materials had to be carried thru the front of the house to the back yard. The end result was an 8′ by 10′ shed that my daughter’s family immediately began to fill up.

I survived 3 days of 95 degree weather, hail, my grand kids getting head lice and strep throat. But the end result was worth it. The plans and videos were my guide and savior. I had one question for Henry and received a prompt reply with excellent advice from him. I highly recommend using Country Life Projects as your guide for building your shed. Being able to view the videos as needed was a great help. The Materials Required List by Phase simplified the process. I required 18 days to complete the shed with very little additional help. The location of the shed added to the overall duration, but I would estimate 14-21 days depending on complexity to complete the project. Thanks a bunch, Henry. Your tips and tricks were right on. and saved me lots of time and effort.

    Hi Rick…

Glad the videos and my tips helped make the project work out and look good. Shed looks rock solid! Must have been a challenge carrying everything to the back yard – bad enough hauling tools onto job sites 😉
